Premier Inn, Ringwood

The new Premier Inn Hotel development in Forest Gate Business Park, Ringwood, opened on 21^st January 2019. The scheme involved the design and construction of 83 bedrooms across four storeys, including ‘Thyme’, Premier Inn’s in-house restaurant. Further works included external works and drainage and a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating was attained for the finished scheme.

The hotel was funded by Sharman Projects’ Client, LondonMetric, with Premier Inn Hotels Ltd taking a 20 year lease on the completed development. Under our role as Project Monitor, we oversaw all aspects of the construction, monitoring quality, accuracy and progress to ensure the project met our Client’s requirements. Our expertise in project management solutions and quantity surveying experience, enabled us to identify and resolves issues with the project team, providing the required reporting and dedicated service which is essential for our Client.

The Premier Inn opening creates dozens of new year-round jobs boosting the local economy. The hotel locality in Forest Gate Business Park supports Ringwood as a location attractive to business travellers but also tourists looking to explore the scenic local area and New Forest National Park.
